Academic success

Student walking on campus

At VCU, we understand that making the transition from various international cultures to the American culture can be complex and challenging. The Global Education Office’s Academic Success for International Students program was created to help make that transition easier, and to measure, analyze and promote international student success.

One of ASIS’s key functions is to provide supplemental academic advising that is tailored to the special needs of international students.

ASIS also helps increase international student retention by serving as a bridge between various entities on the VCU campus and international students.
