From our nationally and internationally known faculty to the challenging classes of The Honors College to the nearly $248 million in sponsored research funding, Virginia Commonwealth University provides our students with a great academic experience.
Today, more than 31,000 students pursue more than 220 degree and certificate programs through VCU’s 13 schools and one college. VCU offers fall, winter, spring and summer sessions, giving you the opportunity to enroll in courses throughout the year.
At VCU, we understand that making the transition from various international cultures to the American culture can be complex and challenging. The Global Education Office’s Academic Success for International Students program was created to help make that transition easier, and to measure, analyze and promote international student success.
One of ASIS’s key functions is to provide supplemental academic advising that is tailored to the special needs of international students.
ASIS also helps increase international student retention by serving as a bridge between various entities on the VCU campus and international students.
