A global perspective
Since its founding, the university has combined the traditional and nontraditional, embracing diversity in our academic programs, campus events, students, faculty and staff. We like to cross boundaries, not create them. We seek and support students who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, community engagement and creative thinking.
VCU’s international students come to campus from 100 countries around the world to study in more than 170 degree-seeking programs. The countries with the most students enrolled include:
- Saudi Arabia
We value the insights and culture that our international students contribute, while understanding the challenges of moving to a foreign country far away from home. The staff at our Global Education Office is dedicated to easing the transition for international students and making sure that they succeed.
